Farmer drives tractor across U.S. for wounded veterans

· July 6, 2017

A retired Pennsylvania farmer is pursuing a lifelong dream to drive a tractor across the U.S. while answering a call to raise awareness and money for wounded American veterans.

In 2014, Ivan Stoltzfus, decided to drive across the country in a custom, 1948 John Deere tractor in an effort to give back to America’s heroes. The 70-year-old is back on the road, this time driving from Pennsylvania to Florida to the Pacific Northwest and back through the Midwest to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

Stoltzfus has raised nearly $50,000 for veterans, particularly those that suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder.

If you would like to donate to Stoltztfus or track his journey, you can follow this remarkable cause at Across America for Wounded Heroes.
